Erdal is from Turkey. He completed his B.S. and M.S. in Economics at Middle East Technical University. He worked as European Union Expert and Economist at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Turkey. His prior research has focused on topics including beef-cattle economics, commodity markets, math programming, and applied time series econometrics. Erdal is currently a Ph.D. research assistant working in production management and agricultural marketing.
