Professional Profile

Thomas is a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. While he did not grow up on a farm, he grew up around agriculture and developed a love for it from family connections. After completing his B.S. in Agricultural Economics at the University of Kentucky in 2020, Thomas worked in the accounting industry and for an agricultural non-profit specializing in helping farmers develop their business operations. While working in the agricultural sector, Thomas realized the value of continuing his education and developing research skills. As an M.S. student and graduate research assistant, he hopes to contribute to meaningful research in the field of agricultural marketing and consumer behavior.
