Frequently Asked Questions

After submitting all required documents and determining that all minimum requirements are met, the graduate committee will meet and decide on admittance.

The average timeline of the program is two to four years depending on the route that you take.

You will need to submit the following items along with your application:

  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Resume
  • Personal Statement
  • GRE Test scores
M.S. Program prerequisites
  • ECO 391 Economics and Business Stats
  • ECO 402 Intermediate Macroeconomics
  • MA 113 Calculus

 

 

Funding availability varies from year to year and is awarded on a competitive basis. The Assistantships and Fellowships pages have more information specific to funding opportunities. 

The Graduate Student Organization serves as the liaison between graduate students and AEC faculty and staff. The organization is led by a board of officers and works to provide additional professional opportunities to our graduate students in the form of conferences, research, poster presentations, seminars, networking, and opportunities to immerse yourself in UK, Lexington, and Kentucky while you are with us including farm agribusiness tours, extension events, and local sites.
