Internships
Get the Hands on Experience You'll Need.
We encourage AEC majors to pursue internship opportunities. Internships can be paid or unpaid, but the key difference between a job and an internship is that an internship provides a pre-professional learning experience with the explicit goal of training the intern for career advancement.
Internships allow students to gain hands-on experience and explore different opportunities that agriculture and industry offer. The on-site, hands-on experiences link their education to the world of work. The skills they learn and develop are invaluable.
The Department would like to work with your organization to provide mentorship opportunities for undergraduates. If you are interested in an intern please connect with Susan Skees, Undergraduate Academic Coordinator, to learn more.
