***Graduate Admissions Process

***Graduate Admissions Process

Plan ahead.

Step 1

The only transfer of credits we evaluate are for graduate credit for enrolled students only. http://bulletin.uky.edu/content.php?catoid=6&navoid=257#transfer-of-credits

The graduate school doesn't evaluate transfer credit equivalency even for graduate level courses.

For graduate student transfers of credit, it is up to the program to decide if the graduate courses taken by a student at another University meet the requirements for their graduate program or a particular course that their program requires (as it relates to course content). If the program/DGS approves, then they request approval from the grad school, but the grad school doesn't evaluate actual course equivalency.

Have you checked with the DGS about this? It seems that it would be up to the program to decide if students applying to their master's program have met the required prerequisite courses.
