Pastured Based Laying Hens Decision Aid
Purpose: This decision tool was developed to assist current and potential producers with estimating their costs and returns for a small scale layer enterprise.
Options Evaluated: The management style options are broken down into two categories: stationary and mobile housing. Beyond that, the user has control over production data such as breed, mortality rate, feed intake, forage replacement, etc. The user can enter their own data for use the estimates provided by the budget.
